An Evening with Traces Dance EnsembleThe outstanding Traces Dance Ensemble present a series of exciting new short works, celebrating a year of exciting new work under the direction of dance artists, Dee Grant with Jess Rowell. The superb night of contemporary dance will showcase new solo, trio, quartet and group choreography performed and chosen by the group members, alongside two repertoire works from the Traces Dance Ensemble vault. The wonderful dancers are Grace Howley, Daragh Quinlan, John Mulligan, Florence Pickett, Johanna Stopyra, Brian McSweeney, Zoe McCauliffe, Niamh Harte, Emily McHatton.
The night will also feature the premiere of 'New York State of Mind' an autobiographical dance choreographed by Brian McSweeney, proud recipient of the Arts & Disability Ireland Connect Mentoring Award 2016. Don't miss this opportunity to join us for an inspirational night at Garter Lane Theatre, Waterford.
An Evening with Traces Dance Ensemble is kindly supported by Down Syndrome Ireland Waterford & South Kilkenny Branch, Arts & Disability Ireland & Garter Lane Arts Centre, Waterford. Traces Dance Ensemble are based at Garter Lane Arts Centre and its Co-Artistic Directors are: Dee Grant & Libby Seward. Traces Dance Programme provides professional dance training for young people with disabilities.
