Public Astronomy Talk by Dave Grennan

Dave Grennan is an amateur astronomer from Raheny in north Dublin. Dave carries out research grace astronomical observation from Raheny Observatory. His primary areas of research are the study of near earth asteroids and his ongoing supernova survey during which Dave has made several new discoveries.

Astronomy is one of the few areas of scientific research where amateurs and professionals can equally share in the research. During this presentation, Dave will outline how anybody, even with limited access to equipment, can make significant contributions involving real research grade astronomy.
