Waterford Music is delighted to bring two internationally acclaimed classical musicians to Waterford, with thanks to Music Network.
Spanish musicians Francisco Fullana (violin) and Alba Ventura (piano) will perform a vibrant programme of Spanish and Catalan music.
Francisco Fullana has won numerous prizes, including the 2018 Avery Career Grant and the and the 2023 Khaledi Prize. In 2015 he won the Munetsugu Angel Violin Competition in Japan. Alba Ventura made her debut as a soloist at the age of thirteen and has been named an ECHO European Concert Halls Rising Star. They have performed in some of the world’s leading concert halls, including the Wigmore Hall in London and the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam.
Their programme features the dazzling virtuosity of Pablo de Sarasate and the Sonata Española by Joaquin Turina. You’ll also hear timeless classics from Bach and Mozart. It promises to be a programme full of warmth, colour and passion.
