Brian Langan is a freelance editor and literary agent, and founder of Storyline Editing and Storyline Literary Agency. Brian has over two decades’ experience in publishing, most recently as editor at Transworld/Doubleday Ireland, an imprint of Penguin Random House, where his authors included Donal Ryan, Hilary Fannin, Colm O’Regan and Conor O’Clery. Brian is also a published author and is currently writing his second novel.
Lisa Frank was born and raised in Los Angeles but lived in the Pacific Northwest for several years before moving to Ireland in 2007. She received her MFA in Creative Writing from Eastern Washington University and taught creative writing in a variety of settings, including a mens’ prison. In 2016 she won second place in the Francis MacManus Short Story Competition and in 2015 she was a joint-winner of the Irish Writers’ Centre Novel Fair Competition. She is the editor of Galway Stories and co-editor of Belfast Stories, anthologies that feature many of Ireland’s best fiction writers. She lives in Connemara with her partner and is co-director of Doire Press.
Lisa Coen is co-founding publisher of Tramp Press. Before that, she worked for Hot Press magazine and The Lilliput Press. She wrote a PhD thesis in Trinity College Dublin on Irish theatre, and has contributed to The Oxford Handbook of Irish Theatre and the occasional journal. Lisa is from Mayo, but remains an optimist.
Martin Doyle is Books Editor of The Irish Times, which he joined in 2007. He is a former Editor of The Irish Post and has also worked for The Times. He edited A History of The Irish Post (2001).
