The Kammerphilharmonie Europa gives a guest performance in Garter Lane Arts Centre for this very special concert. The ensemble is made up of some of the most talented young musicians from across Europe who tour and perform around the world with award-winning soloists Pawel Zuzanski (violin) and Cyrill Gussaroff (trumpet).

Enjoy an evening full of versatile sounds and complex emotions with the following selected works:

Pawel Zuzanski (Violin)
Pawel Zuzanski was born in 1977 in Kielce, Poland. At the age of twelve, he debuted with The Kielce Philharmonic Orchestra performing the concerto in A minor by J. S. Bach. He studied with Prof. Zenon Ploszaj at The Academy of Music in Lodz, Poland
and prof. Adam Kostecki at The High School of Music and Drama Hannover, Germany.
He has received his chamber music formation from Hatto Beyerle and Gerrit Zitterbart. He continues to refine his musical skills by working regularly above all with Shmuel Ashkenasi, Elmar Budde, David Harrington, Eckart Heiligers, Joseph
Kalichstein, Avedis Kouyoumjian, Johannes Meissl and Christoph Richter. In 2003 Zuzanski established “The Andrzej Panufnik Trio” with which he won the renowned Charles Hennen Chamber Music Competition. With the trio he is
a regular guest at internationally festivals such as “Kalkalpen Musik Festival” and “Trondheim Chamber Music Festival”. Besides the trio performsextensively throughout Europe. In 2005 the ensemble became a member of European Chamber Music Academy. In 2006 it has been honoured with the “Maerkischer Kreis” Award. Moreover, as a leader of Polish Camerata Chamber Orchestra, Chopin Soloists Chamber Orchestra, Chamber Philharmonic Europe and Hanover Chamber Orchestra he toured throughout Europe and South America.

 

Cyrill Gussaroff (trumpet) was born in Saint-Petersburg, Russia where he received his first trumpet lesson from the famous trumpet player Professor V.Margolin, in whose class he graduated from the Saint-Petersburg Conservatoire with distinction in 2002. He continued his education at the Conservatoires of Hanover and Essen, where he was taught by such influential
people as Professor S.Goehtel and Prof. U.Koeller. In his career Mr. Gussaroff has gained awards at international competitions including the International Competition Citta di Porcia, the Dokshitzer Competition Vilnius, the Competition of Calvia Mallorca and the Tchaikovsky Conservatoire International Competition, Moscow. He started his career as a trumpet soloist at
the Staatskapella Symphony Orchestra of St. Petersburg. At present he is a soloist with the Lower Rhine Symphony Orchestra and is an artist of the Orchestra of the Bayreuth Festival. In addition, Cyrill Gussaroff has worked with seceral different orchestras such as the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra, the Bochum Symphonie, the Camerata Budapest, the Chamber Philharmonic Europe and the Philharmonika Venezia.

In the 2021-2022 season, the European Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra gave over 40 concerts worldwide. Our musicians have performed in many prestigious concert halls and opera houses, including Civic Theatre, Dublin, Musikhuset Aarhus, Neumünster, Zürich, Conway Hall, London, Kulturkvarteret Kristianstad, The Hawth, Crawley, the Palladium, Malmö and opening concert at the Vendsyssel Festival.
