Katie is an actor and theatre-maker from Waterford and is coming to Garter Lane for a dramaturgical development week of her debut play How To Fall Flat On Your Face.
How To Fall Flat On Your Face is a story about healing; how to heal from a broken face, how to heal from a broken heart, how to heal from the inside out.Katie will work with Dramaturge Laura Honan to rigorously investigate story and structure. Prior to the development week, Movement Director Rachel Ní Bhraonáin offered exciting movement possibilities which Katie aims to apply to the scripts evolution.
Katie is eager and passionate to build this piece in and from Waterford. The support of Garter Lane Arts Centre and Waterford City & County Council has given Katie this space and time, allowing her script to grow.
