This is the 37th year of this annual showcase of talent and, in conjunction with the Waterford Winterval Festival, heralds the arrival of the Christmas season. This Craft Fair is voluntary run and filled with talent from all over the Southeast and beyond. All the products are handmade, and hand-crafted in Ireland with a special kind of care, love and attention and it is this passion that makes the Garter Lane Annual Crafts Fair so unique and individual and such an integral part of Christmas in Waterford city.
Open daily from the 3rd to the 21st of December inclusively; the products are diverse and wide-ranging. From exquisite jewellery to wood crafts, knitwear and crochet to ceramic art forms, beautifully soft velvet scarves to beeswax candles and tasty chocolates to delicate organic skin care, the wares available are vast and cater to every need. Whether it’s a Christmas gift for a loved one or a well-deserved present for yours truly, there is an option for everybody covering every budget imaginable at the Waterford Crafts Christmas Craft Fair this year.
