‘Waterford Made’: Online Pop-up Film Festival

Waterford Film Centre presents ‘Waterford Made’ an online pop-up film festival to showcase a retrospective of the best local films out there during this period of confinement.

Thank you everyone who submitted work. We had so many amazing submissions for our 10 day Festival and we’re very excited to show you what we have! Full programme schedule below.

Screening kicks off on Friday the 24th of April at 8pm, live from our Facebook page ‘Waterford Film Centre’. We will be showing some amazing work from professional and emerging filmmakers, with a variety of genres and styles including award winning shorts, music videos and documentaries.

This retrospective celebrates Waterford as a centre of film talent, creativity and beauty. Highlights include works from James Fitzgerald, Dyehouse Films, Paul Bolger, Dreamboat, Nemeton, Garret Shanley and Neil O’Driscoll, with some older works from Waterford Youth Arts that help to show how film has developed locally.

The pop-up festival will run every evening from 8pm: Friday the 24th of April until Sun the 3rd of May.

Let’s enjoy what Waterford talent has to offer and see some very unique and exciting work.
