Through the support of an Arts Council Bursary, actor and writer Katie Honan will be joining us over the coming months in Garter Lane, as she further develops her writing practice as a theatre maker through the lens of neuroscience. She will present a staged reading of The Far Away Sun in Garter Lane’s Project Space in late February 2025.
The reading will form a part of Katie’s Dublin Theatre Festival’s Residency Award.
Katie premiered her debut play as writer How To Fall Flat On Your Face at Garter Lane Arts Centre in 2022, which hit the stage again at the end of last year in Dublin’s Project Arts Centre.
How To Fall Flat On Your Face was picked out in RTÉ Arena ‘The Best of Theatre 2023’ and The Arts Review ‘The Year That Was 2023’.
