Lonely Castle In The Mirror is a 2022 animated adventure-drama from director Keiichi Hara.
Shy and isolated teenager Kokoro has stopped going to school after being bullied by classmates. At home alone one day, she’s shocked to see a portal open up in her bedroom mirror. On the other side, she discovers an opulent castle. There, she meets six other lonely teenagers and they learn that they’ve been summoned to participate in a mysterious game and together, they must unravel the enigmatic connection that binds them.
The castle’s proprietor, a mysterious young girl in a wolf mask, promises one wish to whoever can find the castle’s secret key before the year is out. However, she also warns that there’s a chilling consequence for those who dare to break the rules – being devoured by a wolf!
