Maddie Is an artist from Waterford. A recent graduate from SETU Visual Arts with a First Class Honours Degree. Currently working from Garter Lane Studios, their work primarily focuses on natural imagery, clashing with retro technology and absurd metaphysical imagery to create new and disjointed otherly worlds. Often depicted in mixed media collage drawings and video editing. Silly Art enthusiast. ”
BURKE
burke is a Waterford based multidisciplinary artist with blunt and impulsive engagements in painting, collaging, object crafting, word writing and filmmaking. His experimental film and video works utilise both digital and analog mediums and methods; abrupt images collide obliquely with masked characters’ navigations through abstract narratives and unusual conditions in order to resolve what can be known as “burke’s (undisclosed) Bottom Line”. After graduating from SETU with a BA (Hons) in Visual Art in 2023, burke has exhibited works across Co. Waterford in Garter Lane, GOMA and The Old Market House and has had films screened as part of CineSalon 4 at The Guesthouse in Cork. He is currently “in the middle of something”.
