As part of the Bealtaine Festival Speak Up Waterford present Performance / Public Speaking / Mic Workshop in the atmospheric basement of Garter Lane Studios.
This is a workshop to help writers feel more confident and comfortable about performing their work at literary events. Actor Lynda Gough will teach you microphone skills and give you tips for controlling your nerves and projecting your voice.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll be buzzing at the thought of performing your work before an audience. This workshop will also be of value to other arts professionals who need to give presentations as part of their work.
The workshop will take place Saturday 10th May 10.30am to 2pm.
This workshop is free as its part of the Bealtaine Festival but please book your place as capacity is limited.
