A rehearsed reading of Katie Honan’s new play ‘The Far Away Sun’.
Supported by the Arts Council and Waterford City & County Council, Katie’s new play explores the delicate dance between man and monster in oneself.
She now returns to Garter Lane Arts Centre to share the script performed by two actors, with a post-reading discussion about the interdisciplinary nature of the text.
The play has thrown up interesting questions about staging, so she will then go on to advance the work’s dramaturgical focus on sound in Dublin Theatre Festival‘s Slingshot
