Is Garter Lane Theatre wheelchair accessible? | Yes, Garter Lane theatre is wheelchair accessible, we have several seats available for our audience members with additional needs. You cannot purchase these tickets on our website they must be purchased in person or with the box office by phone on 051-855038. PLEASE NOTE: Wheelchair accessible seating will be released 1 week prior to the performance. |
What are the opening times for the box office? | The opening times are Tuesday- Saturday 11.00am- 5.30pm, on show days the box office will be open from 11.00am- until 15 mins before start time of the performance. |

Why is there a booking fee cost added to my ticket? | Booking Fees are applied to all ticket types, excluding free tickets, whether purchased online or in-person, unless otherwise stated. The Arts Centre must pay a bank charge and a ticketing charge on all paid tickets. As with many not-for-profit cultural institutions with charity status, the Arts Centre offsets this expense with a flat rate booking fee applied to most, but not all, ticketed events. Certain events, such as educational, children’s and community events at Garter Lane, of which there are many, do not carry a booking fee. If any customer wishes to file a complaint in relation to the booking fee they are advised to email admin@garterlane.ie marking the subject line ‘complaint’ and noting the date and time of incident being reported. |

Can I receive a refund for my tickets? | Once purchased, tickets can only be refunded in the event of a show being cancelled or a change of date and time. |
I have tickets and want to exchange them for another performance is that possible? | Provided there is availability, it should be no problem to change your booking to another performance of the same show up to 24 hours before the performance you originally booked for. Please note that ticket prices will vary depending on the day so you may be asked to pay for the difference (weekend performances are generally dearer tickets than mid-week). |
Can I purchase tickets at the box office on the evening of a show? | Yes, if the show is not sold out and there are tickets available you can purchase tickets on the evening of a show. |
Does Garter Lane have a latecomers policy? | Each performance will have its own latecomers policy, generally for plays latecomers will not be admitted after the start time of a performance, we can seat latecomers during the interval if there is one during the play. For music and film, we do endeavour to seat all latecomers where possible with as little disturbance as possible to the rest of the audience. |
