WE ARE RECRUITING FOR TWO CE SCHEME ROLES
1. Garter Lane Arts Centre is hiring a Web and Social Media administrator (CE scheme).
The web and social media administrator will gain hands-on experience in both the creative and administrative sides of the arts centre assisting with the administration and promotion of the broad and varied annual programme of events.
The closing date for applications is Friday 10th October 2025.
Key duties include:
- Updating and maintenance of Garter Lane’s social networking accounts including Facebook & Instagram, uploading articles, audio files, images, marketing copy, photographs and videos.
- Updating Garter Lane’s Website with events and linking to ticketing system
- Taking calls, concise phone messages and passing on messages to the relevant members of staff through the email system.
- Dealing with queries from the public and colleagues while on duty.
- Willingness to undertake and complete training and development modules.
- Must be able to work as part of a team.
- Any other duties as may be required.
2. Garter Lane Arts Centre is hiring a Friends Coordinator (CE scheme).
The Friends coordinator will gain hands-on experience in both the administrative and live events side of the arts centre assisting with the development and delivery of the Friends membership scheme.
The closing date for applications is Friday 10th October 2025.
Key duties include:
- Marketing assistance in promotion and delivery of Friends scheme.
- Updating Garter Lane’s Friends membership database.
- Helping with coordination and running of Friends events, day and/or evening, as required.
- Dealing with queries from the public and colleagues while on duty.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills.
- Training required to log new Friends via ticketing software database.
- Flexibility around working hours required.
- Willingness to undertake and complete training and development modules
- Any other duties as may be required
