We’re delighted to be welcoming back to A Little Room playwright Gillian Grattan
Gillian is spending the month putting the finishing touches to her play Gúna which was developed here in Waterford, A Little Room and the Pavilion Theatre Studio in Dún Laoghaire and under the mentorship of Kathleen Warner Yeates, supported by an Arts Council Agility Award.
During her time in Waterford, Gillian will also work on further developing her stage play Baby’s Last Ride.
PJ breaks his wife out of her nursing home on their 50th wedding anniversary. The part that Gillian is now developing focuses on Eileen, a health care worker at Horizon Sky nursing home and how this very same day pans out for her. This part of the script is what Gillian will be reading for you on the 4th of February at Little Room.
Gillian is delighted to be back in Garter Lane and is very grateful for all the support she has received from all at A Little Room. Such a great space to work in and such a supportive environment and team.
