BrokenCrow presents ERIK

BrokenCrow are developing a new piece of theatre ERIK for children aged 7+. We’re really excited to share some ideas from ERIK with young audiences at SprÓg 25.

ERIK is about a seven legged spider who lives inside a hoover.

Did you know spiders have at least 8 eyes but can’t see very well? They have no nose but can smell and no ears but can hear. How can you see, smell & hear without eyes, nose and ears?
Join us as we explore and experience the sensory world of spiders with ERIK’s help!

BrokenCrow will present elements of this new work, guiding the audience through a feedback session to find out what works – is this interesting? What was challenging? What was understood? What does the audience like or not about how we are telling this story?

ERIK is part of an ambitious suite of works in development – an illustrated book, an animation and a live theatrical event.

Written & performed by George Hanover
Sound design & foley Kevin Terry
Director Gavin McEntee
