Join local Maker Jacqui Kelleher in this gorgeous workshop where participants will create their own Yarn from old jeans, denim and scraps to Crochet a small basket or bag.
We all seem to collect dozens of old, torn and just-not-the-right-fit jeans in the back of  our wardrobes, so why not join us in repurposing this durable, natural material into something new this Bealtaine!
About the Workshop
Crochet new life into old denim
A lot of today’s denim jeans are sadly not built to last. This workshop for adults encourages you to reuse them in a new way, instead of sending them to landfill.
You will learn how to make denim yarn from old jeans, and then turn that yarn into a small basket or bag.
Ability to crochet is necessary. All tools supplied, just bring an old pair of jeans!
