This CPD session will focus on the key stages and strategies that are essential for any artist who wishes to market their work for the commercial art industry. It will cover the key areas such as budgets, production timelines, fees, artwork pricing, identifying your target audiences and communication strategies. It is open to artists at all stages of their careers.
About Ruth Hogan
Ruth Hogan is an Irish creative producer, curator and writer based between Ireland and London. She has almost twenty years’ experience of working with many of the UK’s leading blue-chip art galleries and internationally renowned contemporary artists. She has previously held roles at White Cube, Lisson Gallery and Simon Lee Gallery and worked with internationally acclaimed artists such as Yinka Shonibare and Sonia Boyce. Her professional focus is artist-centric, with an established extensive international network and track record in project delivery, artist management and mentorship. She holds a MA in Curating Contemporary Art from Royal College of Art, London.
