A Waterford College of Further Education production of The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde.
Supported by Waterford College of Further Education and by WWETB, the Theatre Studies and Event Production class of 2024 will be performing a shortened version of the well-loved classic play written by Oscar Wilde.
Watch in awe as Algernon is “cruisin’ for a bruisin”, or as the “ginchiest” girls go head-to-head for the infamous Mr. Ernest Worthing, in this production with a 1950’s twist. The interesting characters make for enjoyable, light-hearted entertainment for all.
There will be a 2:30pm matinee preview, followed by the 7:30pm evening performance.
Tickets for the performances are absolutely free, but prior booking is essential.
