A Little Room Presents: Towns Dead
The Belladonna Collective presents: Towns Dead.
Towns Dead is a play about an epidemic of hopelessness. A group of friends finish the Leaving Cert and are all faced with the question of what comes next. In the midst of such an important transitional period of their lives, they each have to deal with their own problems that are holding them back. With the invitation to a party celebrating “the start of the rest of their lives,” they need to find out: can they really move on if they’re not ready? Or if it’s all just hopeless.
Waterford’s only dedicated theatre development space, A Little Room is based in the newly refurbished Garter Lane Studios at 5 O’Connell Street, in the heart of the city’s cultural quarter.
This unique theatre development space is open to professional practitioners from Waterford and beyond to come and spend a month developing work in a free and professional space.
Though the room’s primary focus is on developing theatre in the region, we welcome all creators who are exploring any aspect of performance.
