Lock This Love Down is a tale of forbidden love, family loyalty, and the passion of two young people in a time of uncertainty.
Jessica, the innocent daughter in a family of violent criminals, falls in love with Spike Zoom, a bad boy from the wrong side of town. Can they hide their relationship from her maniacal parents? Can true love prevail? Will Spike survive the murderous attempts of Jessica’s parents to protect their daughter?
This film is a hilarious romp through the streets of Waterford. It is irreverent, violent and filled with dancing, colourful language and dramatic events.
Lock This Love Down was written and performed by members of Vita Community Hub in Waterford. It is directed by Philip Cullen, produced by Karen Keena and supported by Richie Maguire. The project was part- funded by the WWETB.
